Following a brief (yet leisurely) summer break, I was excited to co-organise my second Drawing Escapes meet-up in London.
The venue for an autumnal October day? It had to be Kings Cross; encompassing Granary Square, the Regents Canal and Coal Drops Yard.
With a mixture of classic and new yet thoughfully inkeeping architecture, plus market stalls, people watching, abutment nature and (perhaps more importantly), shelter from the elements, an abundance of public seating and free toilets. It was a clear stand out choice for me, and the long wood tables of Little Creatures Brewery made an excellent post-drawing-afternoon tutorial venue!
You can join us again in London on Sunday 19 January – and you can join The Drawing Club on Facebook to hear about future events around the UK.
